Chapter Vision
The Chicago Chapter of the Arts desires to help students to connect and integrate artistic concepts across multiple art forms; the chapter will encourage students to explore their inherent abilities in the arts and therefore illuminate aspects of themselves.

Learn more about this community service organization that guides experiences by empowering and promoting youth as they explore the Visual, Literary, and Performing Arts. Our Chapter’s Biennial Youth Showcase Represents an Honest Commitment to Youth and to The Arts
In alternating years, the chapter presents talent in the making, highlighting up and coming youth artists in all areas of The Arts in a public showcase. Our talented students pursue The Arts from grade school to college and we welcome the ability to champion their interests.
Among those showcased in the past was Maestro Harrell who played the young Ali in the film The Greatest and Simba in the 2003-2004 Chicago production of The Lion King.
Showcase Locations span the greater Chicago Area: Midway Marriott, South Shore Cultural Center, Bronzeville Children’s Museum, Nicole Gallery, Flossmoor Country Club, Olympia Fields Country Club, Greater Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church and DuSable Black History Museum

Virtual Success and a Memorable Presentation of Superior National Talents
The 2022 National Arts Showcase, Reflections on the Black Experience featured talent from across the nation with special guests including Honorary Member and celebrated author Natalie Baszile, PHILADANCO artistic director Joan Meyers Brown, actress and producer Daphne Maxwell Reid and Honorary Friends music director and conductor Darryl Archibald and contemporary artist Kevin Cole.
The Chicago Chapter for the Arts submissions included The Chicago Urban String Ensemble and Joshua Mhoon, who was the 3rd Place Instrumental Arts winner.
